season 5 of clone wars omg just a few seasons left

okay, chronological order.

so the metal bros (maul and savage) are like let's go recruit pirates to do stuff, and so they get to hondo, which is a recurring character i dont think ive mentioned before. He's. a pirate like literally the piratest pirate, i find him fun tbh, anyway the bros pay  a bunch of his man to betray hondo n he's like "oh theyre traitors im so proud" n i just love this kind of things, but anyway obi wan gets involved cus ofc he does when there's maul in the mix, he gets to the planet along another jedi, they fight the bros, obi wan this time is a bit less of a punching bag, surprisingly, unfortunately the other jedi gets killed but kenobi cuts an arm off of savage n during a gun fight while escaping, maul breaks one of his mechanical legs, but they still manage to escape n are like half dead in space in a pod that cant go nowhere. 

They get intercepted by the death watch which is like. yk how i said mandalorians hated jedi long ago but now theyre peaceful n stuff? ya death watch doesnt like that, a terrorist group that wanna go back to kill jedi because it's the coolest hobby in the entire galaxy, n their leader has this ancient black light saber which is super cool n i love it. Anyway they help the metal bros, n maul is like haiii ill help u take control of mandalore. Also he gets his leg fixed n savage gets a mechanical arm because slicing people's limbs means nothing in the star wars universe.

Anyway a lot of stuff happens, the death watch leader betrays the bros, maul is like fight me bitch i dare you and it ends up with maul beheading the guy, which is one of the only two methods to make sure someone dies in this story. Now the leader of mandalore that is good n everything is this woman, satine, that almost had a thing with obi wan some years back so she contacts him being like help pls, he goes bc ofc he does, n gotta go alone cus mandalore is not part of the republic 

but also i hate how they keep repeating "oh this is a personal matter to you" GIRL MAUL IS GOING AROUND KILLING PEOPLE, OBI WAN IS NOT THE ONE WITH A GRUDGE HERE. MAUL IS LITERALLY A THREAT TO EVERYBODY HE WANNA BE THE NEW FUCKING SITH LORD but anyway stuff happens, obi wan does not succeed cus ofc he doesnt n maul is like haha i want you to suffer like i did, yada yada and impales satine with the black lightsaber in front of obi wan, which is the only other method to kill someone in this stroy. 

Kenobi is sliiiightly distraught but stuff lets him escape, we dont care, but palaptine, that in all of this is chilling as the chancellor of the senate n everything is like mhhhh there's vibes i dont like, so he goes in hood on mode, paying a visit to maul n he's like hi girl didnt know u were still alive how's going. N maul is like oh ya i was definetly doing stuff to get back to u master n palpatine is like girl dont fucking lie your ass was trying to replace me

And fight happens, and palpatine kills savage cus he's STRONG let me tell you, but he keeps maul alive saying he got plans for him.

now the second arc i wanna talk ab of the season is. basically, someone set up ashoka to make it look like she planned a bombing at the jedi building thing  n so everyone is like oh no a jedi was involved n it's her and anakin is like eh i dont believe it, so there's this chase n everything n she hides multiple times n stuff, the first trial she has is with the jedi council n they're like you're guilty n out of this order, n then anakin finds proof that makes her innocent before the trial in the senate. 

and so in the last scene the jedi council is like hey girllll sorry ab that, you're back in <3 n she's like "nah"

And i was like??? Fuck you mean???

and anakin is also like wtf r you talking ab

N i dont really... understand what her point is? she says "the council didnt trust me, so how can i trust myself" ??? uh??? girl what are you sayinggggg

n anakin is like, i fucking believed u all the fucking way n shes like "this isnt ab you, i cant stay here any longer, not now" n anakin is just as fucking confused as i am rn n shes like "i have to sort this out on my own" SORT WHAT OUT. WHAT ARE YOU TALKING AB.  i. feel like an idiot cus i truly dont understand what shes trying to say. that she cant trust the jedi council? but it's more than that, she talks ab not trusting herslef and im. so confusedddd. 

Anyway anakin is like oh i understand wanting to leave the jedi order. 

Girl now you know damn well ashoka reasons are not the same as yours, lets be honest. Like ya the council doesnt trust yall completely but in your case it's because you are a fucking ticking bomb. ashoka case was just, all the evidences at the time against her, thats it. like girl you ARE the evidence against yourself.

Anyway ashoka replies "i know" cus ofc, cus everybody in the galaxy knows anakin is already a foot out of the jedi mindset

And 

thats it. She just leaves after and thats how the season ends. two episodes short from the previous seasons btw.

n im sitting here just confuseddd

so she wont come back? is her character resolution just this? they remember halfway through "oh right theres not fucking ashoka in the last prequel film fuckkkkk find a way to make her poof, quick" and thats it??? i need fucking answers hello??

anyway. Ya. tomorrow im at school so not gonna watch a whole other season. but damn. wtfffff.

also anakin is SCARY, like when he gets angry he starts getting actually good at fighting n im like girl do notttt even tho i fucking know how this ends.
