I'm probably gonna regret posting this but if I don't I might start posting here more often...but

I wish girls were kinder to themselves

It breaks my heart knowing that they can sit there and look in a mirror and say "I'm so ugly", and look at the reflection and not like what looks back

But then they are enveloped in their girly cuteness

They can find the beauty in birds singing at 6am, and they can find the beauty in cherry pie because it looks so cute with vanilla ice cream dripping off it, and they can find the beauty in fallen leaves on a fall night.

They can find beauty in the simplest and most normal of things

But they cannot find the beauty in themselves.
