Day 64 of improving myself until I do a backwards long jump!

Get it because 64, like Mario 64 backwards long jump. Bad jokes aside, I'm Barack! I did all my tasks, spoiler alert. 

Exercise - I did some light exercise to get back into the swing of things again and it didn't make too stiff or anything. Was still a bit tiring though but what else is exercise supposed to be? I also only had 2 meals which isn't Good and I don't even know if it was breakfast or lunch that I skipped because I ate at noon, therefore, I was eating brunch. I skipped both breakfast and lunch at the same time but also ate both breakfast and lunch at the same time. Atleast I had dinner, it wasn't the healthiest though but it was delicious. 

Reading - I read two chapters of Moby Dick which isn't a huge feat but still. I really like this book so far, even though the main character hasn't even gotten on a boat yet. The book is weirdly homo-erotic and I'm here for it. If only it wasn't weirdly racist. I read a lot of classics and I've never seen racism in the books that I read which is lucky for me but now that I actually have a classic which has some racism, it feels disheartening. I still love Moby Dick. I do also think that maybe the racism has some story significance which doesn't excuse it but one thing that I picked up on was the use of the color black. I don't know, I'll have to read more in order to elaborate further. 

Writing - remember when I said that I did all my tasks. Well... I have my tasks for the day written on the very first page of my diary to check every day and I checked this morning and I don't know why but my eyes glazed over the writing part. I just clean forgot to write and it's only now that I'm writing this, I realized. The irony of it is that my tasks are written in my diary where I do most of my writing and I still forgot. 

Learn Something New - you people up there in the northern hemisphere don't know how lucky you are, I wish it was winter. I'd actually rather have my fingers go numb from the cold than have to endure another heat wave. I love the cold. Anyway, it's hot out here and we have an air conditioner so I wanted to turn it on but the remote was all messed up and I couldn't turn it on, this is where the learning comes in. I was probably watching too much Yuval but for some reason, I got a big brain blast and decided to take a photo of the remote for my air conditioner, reverse image search it and then I found the exact model of my AC and I found the manual online. I followed all the troubleshooting and I had to check for flashing lights on the remote and then check the light on the ac and then the light on the outside of the AC. It was a long process all to reveal that I needed to replace the batteries. 

This kind of counts as learning but kind of doesn't, I watched the entire AVGN season 1 and Monster Madness 2007. AVGN is not gonna teach me anything but I learn cool trivia about horror history from Monster Madness. Watch Monster Madness and AVGN season 1 if you want to find the most creative ways to swear, the dude's talking about "shitloads of fuck" and "diarrhea straight from a bull's anus" this is like the comedy that appeals to 12 year olds yet it is the funniest thing I've seen this month. 

Drawing - very bad, very rusty. I drew but it was terrible, I'm so rusty. Why can't I draw? Maybe it has something to with the fact that I haven't drawn for so long... nah, it can't be that. I just couldn't though, it was bad. I'm gonna have to try harder tomorrow.

Guitar - I played guitar today, you guys don't get a music recommendation! I learnt how to play Drive by The Cars and its so good. I didn't play for very long but still it's one of my favorite songs. Okay, let me explain, you know in an 80s movie about high-schoolers, the main character looks at his crush and some romance cliché romance song plays as she walks by or something. When I see someone attractive walk by, chances are, a song by The Cars is playing in my head. Can you be in love with a song? I am, I'm in love with many actually and they're all written by The Cars. Just trust me on this one! I'm gonna drop 3 recommendations and one of them is my favorite song ever, like out of every song ever made.

Do Something! - I guess I took a nap, I'm not sure if that counts but I did. I made sure all my tasks were done before nodding off though. 

Relaxation - I guess this is where AVGN was supposed to slot in but I did also try to watch a movie but fell asleep. I'll finish it tonight. Oh, I also started watching Batman The Animated Series and that show is so beautifully animated. 

Thank you for reading this! Don't worry, it's almost over, I just need to ramble about something for 262 more words and then you guys can go. I was thinking about Steven Universe, remember that show? I know that show was like a scapegoat for far right ideologies and very anti-feminist stuff. A bunch of people would just hide bigotry behind criticism of the show because it had a predominantly female cast full of queer coded characters and it was actually sickening. I used to think that criticism aside, the show still had patchy writing but thinking back on it, I love it. I love that people can enjoy things again because people used to get hate for enjoying Steven Universe and Fortnite and FNAF and any other thing. I remember how much i loved Steven Universe and I used to criticize it because I was scared people would bully me but no, I think it's one of the most beautiful shows I have ever seen in my entire life and it's still very important to me. I was just kind of reminded of it really randomly and it struck me with nostalgia. It reminds me of this time, I was with my Mario kart friend and we were meeting with our moot friend named Josh and the way my Mario Kart friend greeted him was similar to how Obi Wan Kenobi said "Hello there" and then Josh got really nostalgic and he remembered how much he loved Star Wars and how impactful it was to him. I felt something similar today with Steven Universe. I don't know, it's good, I love it, I don't care about any continuity errors, I love it! Anyway, now you can leave, goodbye!
