If anyone reading this ever goes to Taiwan, you should definitely check out Taipei’s cooler sister Kaohsiung. It’s artsy, and it doesn’t feel like it’s a big city despite being the second biggest on the island. Kenting is such a beautiful place, it’s a damn shame I picked the worst possible time to visit. If you are looking for hippie central, just take a flight to Taiwan, take a train and bus for about 3 hours, and you will be in Dulan. This place is surf heaven. Malacca is a super cool town, super similar to Georgetown.
