OK im reading Kafka on the Shore by Haruki Murakami rn and... idek what to say. I like the story and im fine with the blunt way sex is discussed, BUT THE RAPE?? Like ig the incest plot has a purpose (sounds fucking crazy if you haven't read it ik) but the "dream" scene w Sakura felt soooo unnecessary? And the way we were supposed to sympathize w the mc?
