Hyper fixations

Uhhh, so when it comes to hyper-fixations, does anyone else stray away from their interests for weeks or months and then return to it and do it again? Like an endless cycle but you still really like whatever it is, it's just inconsistent. I somehow managed to do so with all my interests.
