possibly living in a haunted house

Every time I walk by my stairs I always see a shadowy figure at the bottom of the steps..just, standing there. I’m not crazy, no, my uncle sees it too. We tried getting someone to sage the house but it didn’t do much. I still hear whispers and the sounds of them touching everything around them.
