unfortunately, my butterfly has in fact died. He did seem to be enjoying his time and definitely liked his dinners. On the bright side, i now have a new specimen to study! The orchard butterfly chrysalis is maturing much more! Not long ago, it twitched on it's own. I am very excited to see when it emerges, if it does. Wish me luck! I found a weevil a few days ago!! so cute ahah,, he loved to snuggle up under the folded cuff of my sleeve, they like dark and small places after all. I put him back where he belongs in nature.
