What’s with all the minors sending mindless friend requests

They keep sending me Friend requests despite the fact that I am 19 and don’t really want to talk to anyone minors. 17+ is fine since I have IRL friends from my Highschool/College Days but I’m not really too comfortable having people younger than that sending me friend requests.
