So, if you've spoken to me once you'll know I've been playing Splatoon since the first game on the Wii U. I was apart of the fandom then, at least on Amino (so cringe I know). I still play the first game, and honestly, I'm only playing 3 now because of the catalogs. I do love 3, though, it's great.
