Perhaps a unique family tradition....

My family tradition is that although we are Sephardic Jews, we are descended from Jacob's son Issachar. Now because of the Roman destruction of the Jewish state, and prior to that the Babylonian captivity, lots of records were stolen from the people of Israel, so traditions were passed down by word of mouth, and a line can be traced back almost four thousand years to our forebears by tradition.

Issachar was born in what is 1704 B.C,E.
