A strange night - no cats moving around on my bed!

I have a flight very early tomorrow morning (I might pay for internet on the airplane).

So, having arranged with a friend for her to look after my two cats, I had an empty flat last night, and this morning. No cats cuddling up to me for my warmth. It felt strange, I almost like on reflex fed them, which is why I put their paraphrenalia away in their cupboard!

Today, I shall probably repack my valise, make sure I have everything, and maybe go out to lunch since I have thoroughly cleaned.

I went out to dinner last night, just a local restaurant, but I felt strange doing that too!

I will never quite adapt to how things are here in England. Mondays you have to hunt around for an open restaurant, if you want something decent to eat!
