My Day Serval Feeding + More!! ヽ(￣ω￣(。。 )ゝ

Selamat pagiii!! Today I went to the wildlife sanctuary nearby!! i got a tour for Christmas! (°ロ°) !

I was really excited because it's always been a dream to be up close and personal with servals!! (๑❛ڡ❛๑)☆ they're my #1 favorite animal..

It was good to see them in a sanctuary too.. I really get annoyed seeing wild animals being owned as pets etc. and I appreciate when people send me videos of animals i like.. but it's always sad seeing them owned as pets!! I was really grateful to see them in a healthy environment!!

This is Sabi!! he's a bit of an oddball in that he's friendlier and a little stupider than most servals.. so we had much in common!!!!

The other serval we didn't see was an older female - apparently she hissed a lot and was just generally not a good sport ..  (；￣Д￣) and most servals our guide worked with seemed to be like that.. Which is weird, because I've seen a lot of oddballs!! servals just generally have a lot of personality between individuals.. which is one of my favorite things! Σ(￣。￣ﾉ)

I'M STILL STUNNED THAT HAPPENED .. I love servals so much!!!!!! ｡･ﾟﾟ*(>д<)*ﾟﾟ･｡

we also met some binturongs - which I knew about ... but I didn't expect them to be some of the funniest animals I've ever met? there were triplets here, and they all greeted us honking and sniffing and making chewbacca noises..

The honking & sniffing are apparently signs of affection and wanting to be paid attention to!! the triplets were so full of energy ... I've never met a binturong so I assumed they were sluggish, individual, don't want to be bothered.. but they were all up in our face struggling to get over each other, using their prehensile tails to climb over each other, honking and licking.. (｡T ω T｡) They're hilarious!

THE SECOND FUNNIEST ANIMAL I'VE EVER MET.. the coati!! There were twins here called Nacho and Cheese, they were like twin circus clowns .. When we came to them they were just climbing in every possible direction on the front of the fence, it reminded me of Super Mario Co-op on the Wii when you climb on the grates together directionlessly!!! 。゜゜(´Ｏ`) ゜゜。And then they started running back and forth on the ceiling and doing backflips.. i seriously felt like i was watching a circus performance.. they're hilarious..

This is a terrible picture of the cheetah but i wanted to talk about him anyway!!

His sister is a golden lab!!!
his siblings died so his mom didn’t care anymore (they often just abandon the survivor and start a new litter to expend resources toward more cubs) ｡ﾟ(｡ﾉωヽ｡)ﾟ｡ SO they will pair surviving cubs with lab puppies usually. And there was a puppy born the same week as him and no one wanted her because she had a black spot on her forehead ( ´ඉ_ඉ` ) her own little cheetah spot! It made me emotional! They both played together a lot in the yard, it was so sweet..

I also got paw prints from Sabi and a fennec fox!!! i'm seriously so happy!!!!

when I'm not disabled, I want to volunteer here or somewhere similar someday.. it's not far from my house at all so I really really want to work and learn there for a bit, even if it's an unpaid internship!!! i will have to study up .. i'm too sick for school (and too busy) but I want a wildlife degree.. I just need to get it in my own time somehow..
