I am no longer granting interviews to promote my newest album. In fact, I have not really pushed ACT NATURAL for quite some time. 

I lost the heart.

Don't get me wrong, I am still proud of the album but never have I seen such a tepid reception for any of my works. I've been a recording artist for 20 years, and this cd just seemed to disappear from peoples' minds. I get that there's a lot going on in the world, and honestly, things are beyond crazy and nonsensical. I wanted my music to somehow be a small source of happiness (as pompous as that sounds) and well, it didn't happen.

One magazine kept pushing me away and I finally had to say "Best of luck but this isn't going to work out." Too many ridiculous demands, and it's not even a BIG magazine. Lots of people need to get their heads out of their asses.

So as of now, I am putting my new album in hiding for a while. If I choose to talk about it again, so be it. If not, that's okay too. 

I'm still bummed though.
