Journal Entry #84: 12/03/23 - Finals Week

Good (early) morning. Happy December!

This weekend has been so gloomy...

Also, I didn't do much this week except for study, of course. I did get some hot cocoa and decorated a pillowcase. I also gave some faculty some gifts as a thank you. It was nice to see them so happy. But yeah, classes are over for the semester. Now, it's on to finals. 

As for today, I'm meeting with my group to go over our presentation. However, not everyone's info is on the slide and in the documents we have to turn in. Also, our bibliography is incomplete. Hopefully, we can sort out the kinks this afternoon. I also need to turn in this project, take a quiz, and write a brief course reflection. It's funny, classes are over and yet I still have assignments.

My exam schedule is pretty nice. I have an online history exam tomorrow, I'll take my ethics final on Tuesday, I'll present my presentation on Wednesday, and then take my bio and cal finals on Thursday. This allows me to leave early on Friday, which is super nice. I hate though that I have to take my two hardest exams on the same day. I've been studying hard and I hope to do well.

And of course, there's always something I'm waiting for. Some people have already gotten their Tally Hall Youtooz! I'm so jealous; the recipients are from the UK though, so they don't have to deal with snail's pace overseas shipping. Hopefully, mine get here sometime this month. Also, where is Soundcloud Playback? Everyone else has gotten their Spotify Wrapped or whatever they call Apple Music's thing, so why can't we have ours? Apparently, it's more than just a playlist this year. Why do they release them so early anyway? They never include December.

Overall though, I hope to not lose myself this week. There is a lot to be done; after this, I get to go home and relax for about a month! Unfortunately, I can't say that I'll be super excited to be home, but I'll at least be able to get away from classwork and other college responsibilities.
