I have been looking at old phones and stuff to see what I want to buy to replace my phone with, and found a pretty good keitai I think I like! However having such an interest in older phones and technology has made my tumblr slowly start to be filled with old tech, and today I got a really big flash to the past by seeing the T-Mobile 'Sidekick'!
My sister used to have a phone which looked similar if not exactly like it in white, and we thought it was the coolest thing ever seen XD I mean it's still pretty cool I guess! It's making me reconsider my keitai if I'm being honest hehaha
Does anyone remember the T-Mobile Sidekick?

You can, actually! I don't know how much longer 2G towers will exist for, though. T-mobile is said to be nerfing their 2G in 2024, and that's right around the corner. There aren't many providers I know of that that still do this and that aren't planning to nerf it in north america besides Fido and Koodo/Telus.

oh that's awesome! but sad for the 2g network.. I thought tmobile had already got rid of it but I guess I was wrong too bad it will be gone next year :( thx for the info!

For sure! If that is something you're interested in be sure to keep a lookout. Maybe the resurgence of these older phones will cause providers to change their minds :D
