my opinion on restaurants

earlier i had dinner at chili's with my family. it was okay, mainly packed and loud which i wasn't comfortable with. the food was good, though, which made up for the experience.

being in a restaurant, however, really made me wonder as to what i truly think about restaurants as a whole. for me, i don't really like them all that much when i eat inside. if there's outdoor seating and the weather's okay, i'll do that. i'd rather eat outside and experience the scenery. it feels a lot more comfortable.

chain restaurants, such as chili's, texas roadhouse, and other similar places have good food in my opinion, however i just...don't like how loud they are. it makes me really uncomfortable, and yes, even though restaurants like what i've described tend to be like this anyways, i'd honestly just prefer a delivery option so i can eat at home. that, or curbside pickup.

i try to bring my headphones when i go to a restaurant, but whenever i'm with family, they always ridicule and berate me in a passive aggressive tone whenever i have them on and am using them to listen to my music to keep me calm and content. but considering how my parents just love social conversations, they continuously try to talk to me and drag me away from my comfort zone, even when i politely tell them that i don't really wish to have a conversation right now.
