Vampire poems! (The last one is unfinished)

A decrepit tomb devoid of light,

An empty coffin lays inside,

it’s occupied by one of the undead,

He walks the streets while I watch from a distance, 

As he drinks again, I feel myself twitch,

For the wish to get bit myself is too strong to resist, 

I want your fangs to pierce my flesh,

so I can join you in undeath.

‘Twas a night completely dark,

On a branch a raven craws,

A shrill wind blows through the dark crypt,

The thrill of the hunt is too much to resist,

 so I  take to the sky, a creature of the night, 

I am a vampire, this is my fate,

you are a human, therefore you’re prey

She walked by on a dark night, 

I caught her eye, standing in the moonlight,

I was surprised as her eyes showed no fear, instead 

wonder and admiration, as she walked up and whispered

“Take me with you.”

I initially wanted to resist, but the urge prevaled,

the predator inside let loose, blood to consume,

Her blood was drained, as she became the vampire’s lover

Your lips are as cold as ice, a scarlet fire blazes in your eyes,

I was enamored when I first saw you.

I knew of the rumors, but I paid them no attention,

as to love you was my only intention

It was yours too, and you soon told me the truth

The night is when you wake, not to sleep until the dawn,

you hunt humans, as a wolf does a fawn

I didn’t mind your bloodlust, only to ask if I could become like you

You obliged, and as you… (empty 4 now)

Some calls us freaks, others think we’re strange,

little do they know, that we dwell among the graves
