thinking `bout starting to make my own music

what are some good programs you can recommend to get started with making my own music on PC? Interested in making various genre of music but at first I believe I wanna do some 8-16bit music

If you only wanna make 8/16 Bits songs then Deflemask Tracker is perfect for you, it can emulate a lot of sound chips from older consoles!! However, is a trakcer., meaning that you have the exact limitations as the original hardware... But you can always add more sound chips to your project




Ive seen people on youtube do it, i know its possible

flstudio if u are willing to pay some money. if u r looking for a free tool, audacity is good too, it's not intuitive at all and u will need some tutorials but it works just fine

I would use flstudio! i think it costs a bit of money but if you get an interface for cheap its the best platform.... garage band is good for starting out too but you need iOS.
