Life advice from your internet older brother

Hey so I've always kinda wanted to be an older sibling so here's some shit I've learnt that might help some people: 

1. Put your happiness first. Even if you feel doing something you love might disappoint the people around you it'll only make you feel more shitty if you keep it to yourself in the long run.

2. If you're planning on making a permanent change (e.g getting a piercing or a tattoo) wait at least two months before you do it. your first month will be your general excitement over wanting to get the new thing and your second will be content that you don't have it yet. If you still feel like you want it then you'll have a lower chance of regretting it

3. Don't let anyone tell you a dream or aspiration you have is stupid or useless, sometimes when people see someone wanting something outside of their version of "realistic" their criticism of you is usually a criticism of themselves

4. you're ALWAYS allowed to say no. If someone is breaking your boundaries or doing something you're uncomfortable with first thing I'd recommend is tell them, if they somehow take offense to that don't interact with them they aren't worth your time.
