Lizzie's Knights AU basics

What is it?

Lizzie's Knights is a Life Series fanfiction I'm working on, it's an AU with elements from a few different seasons. Lizzie's the queen of Fairfort, a kingdom surrounded by a thick and mysterious forest with one path in and out. It's also cursed (I haven't figured out what the curse is yet), and Lizzie goes on a quest on her own to save it. She meets Pearl, Cleo, and Gem, who agree to help with her quest! And they all fall in love along the way.

I'm pretty new to writing fanfiction and don't have a great track record with long projects, so I'm not sure how long I'll be able to stick with this. But if I can, I think it'd take at least 15k words to cover the whole story, maybe? I don't have a great frame of reference, but I think each chapter would be 1000-2000 words and there'd be at least 10 of them.

Why am I writing it?

Basically because I drew a piece for each day of MCYT yuri week and I came out of it with brainrot. But also because I really want to get better at writing, and I'd be very proud of myself if I could complete a longer writing project!
