Interstellar *     *

unforgiving and *       immoderate.

treat it with kindness and remember your roots.

the wormholes open

and lead you to a reality *

in which the world is green

and the ozone is safe. *

* *

nowhere is desolate

rotten or plagued. *

it’s safe from humanity.

overlooked and sacred.

* *

glimmering stars and planets dotted

in the distance. *

it reminds us of a time before technology

in which our ancestors painted pictures

in the sky to tell stories to the little ones.

* *

the threat of the rich *

*  the godlike, indeed!

holds us hostage by the clench of our checks.

* * *

!!!!! throw them in the wormhole, i say,

to ruin a different reality and leave us

to repair what they impoverished. !!!!!

throw them under the guillotine, perhaps,

and let the blood pour      *

into our paper cups.                    *               *

from blood into wine, i say.        *

* *

  *

* *   *
