painted nails

last week i had this religious lady judge me based off my purple nails. she asked why i painted my nails, i said i liked doing it. she asked “are you trying to be a girl” mf yes but also saying yes will just enforce her stereotype. she said i shouldnt ruin what god gave me cuz im a “handsome man”… this conversation went on for like 3 minutes, i almost wanted to tell her that i was born a woman just for her to freak out. 

had a lady today ask me about my nails and i got scared it would be a whole interaction but it was just a curious neutral question.
