All poems were written by Eva H. D.!!Β I simply made them into edits by using some photos I took as the backgrounds! Totally recommend her book Perfect Rotten Mouth, I'm so normal abt the way she writes. ^__^

i feel that!! there r some poems that i think about fucking CONSTANTLY its insane - margaret atwood's writing is so beautiful, the excerpt from one of her novels pops in my mind at least once a day:
"Even pretending you arenβt catering to male fantasies is a male fantasy: pretending youβre unseen, pretending you have a life of your own, that you can wash your feet and comb your hair unconscious of the ever-present watcher peering through the keyhole, peering through the keyhole in your own head, if nowhere else. You are a woman with a man inside watching a woman. You are your own voyeur."

Literally engraving her words into my frontal lobe oh my gosh?? I hadn't heard of her before but I'm definitely gonna check out more of her writing now, thank you so much for recommending it!! It's so lovely!

lolol she has some rly good stuff! i admittedly havent read much of her work, i only know that quote because i saw it online a very long time ago and it just kinda stuck with me bc of how powerful it was. she is an INSANE poet i love her

Same happened with the first poem i posted here tbh!! I originally found out about Eva because her poem Bonedog was featured in a movie called 'I'm thinking of ending things', and i couldn't stop thinking abt it until i looked more into who wrote it and next thing i knew i was already buying Eva's book. It's nice to find new authors from other media though!! :+)
