Pokemon Emerald Nuzlocke Blog part 2

Hey all! After the devastating loss of my starter Blorbo the Mudkip at the hands of Roxy, I left the Rustboro gym to find the Shroomish guy from Petalberg Woods chasing a Team Aqua grunt that robbed him. I follow them and he tells me that the Aqua grunt stole an important package belonging to the Devon Corporation. I head after the Aqua grunt through Route 116, where I caught Chicken the Skitty and Shaggy evolved into a Lombre. I get to Rusturf Tunnel where the Aqua Grunt is hiding, and standing in front is an old man who tells me the Aqua Grunt kidnapped his Pokemon. I go inside the tunnel where I catch Bluetooth the Whismur and fight the Team Aqua Grunt. I get the package back and return the old man's Pokemon. The Shroomish guy gives me another Great Ball and brings me to the Devon Corporation building where I meet Mr. Stone. He gives me a Poke Gear and asks me to deliver a letter to a man named Steven in Dewford Town. I'm also asked to deliver the package to a shipyard in Slateport City. As I'm leaving Rusturf I run into May who challenges me to a battle. She tells me I can hitch a ride to Dewford with Mr Briney, the old man whose Pokemon I saved, and so I head to his house on Route 104

Briney takes me on his ship to Dewford Town and once I'm there I head to Granite cave. Inside I caught Steely Dan the Aron and Thrussy the Makuhita (I counted the different floors of the cave as different areas) as well as got the HM for Flash, which I can't use until I beat Brawly.

I head to Brawly's gym, with Tailow leading my team. I take out the gym trainers and make my way through the dark maze. I reach Brawly and the battle starts. He leads with a Machop. I send out Soda and set up a Focus Energy and finish it off with a crit Wing Attack. Out comes Brawly's Meditite, and another crit Wing Attack takes it down. Now comes the real challenge, Brawly's Makuhita. I try to set up a Growl to lower it's attack, but even after that Makuhita's Vital Throw still took out a lot of Soda's health. I don't want to have to write out everything that happened, but you already see where this is going. Brawly swept my team, and the run ends there.
