i keep seeing so much hate for scenecore and i dont think it deserves it. Its *inspired* by scene fashion and music (kandi, bright colours, lots of accessories, silly emoticons, and whatnot) but obv it is not the same, and shouldnt be expected to be the same!
"its nothing like scene!!" And? thats because it is not scene, its inspired by it but its not scene and scenecore people know that.
I like alot of scenecore music actually, its really not that bad
I do think it needs a new name because of it being confused for actual Scene when they are very different but scenecore isnt as bad as people make it out to be
Instead of booing scenecore people away, teach them about actual scene clothing and music, most scenecore people are children who werent alive when scene was super popular so there is a chance they might not even know anything about scene
you gain nothing by bulling scenecore kids besides bulling a child for getting inspo from your fashion/music and expressing themself in a way they like

i just think the reason it gtes so much hate is cuz people confuse it for scene, so then when people who are scene dress scene they get told theyre doing it wrong, so its just confusing for alot of people, but i agree it can look good when done right !
yeah, the confusion of it meaning to be scene is why i think it should get a different name ^-^

As a scenecore fan I completely agree with you. There is literally no reason for hating someone because they have their own music taste that they like most. Scenecore songs can have problematic lyrics and very loud vocals sometimes but because it exists as a music genre it means that there are people who actually enjoy it except it's lyrics. I mostly like it's beats most (even if they are stolen), this genre usually gives me good vibes..I rarely check the lyrics myself to be honest.
i fully remember ppl aniamting their ocs to fucking S.E.N.P.A.I. (yk,, about some dude fucking his younger sister and calling her a loli), i think whatever lryics any scenecore song could have cant be that worse tbh
