Prion diseases are so cool!!! Like obviously they're bad, they're diseases. but like!! it's so interesting!! 

It's essentially a misfolded protein that infects the brain and breaks down the tissue by interacting with our normal proteins and makes them misfold! 

it's so interesting how they work. there was an epidemic in New Guinea due to ritualistic cannibalism! This strand was called Kuru you should definitely look into it if you're interested!!
