Statement

A practicing artist,
Not leninist or Marxist,
Not socialist or social too,
I am Bard not bad,
To the 19th I'm on par,
The first 18 I will leave up to you.
I am cautionary not revolutionary,
Because life seems far too scary,
But I know the way that it is,
I say enough of the gloom,
I no longer feel Doom,
But my brain is still constantly quizzed.
Sometimes abrasive,
always evasive,
But kind, that is what I see within,
And plenty of bluster,
I use all the strength I can muster,
To try and take life on the chin.
The last feelings and emotions,
Of these words to set into motion,
Should be positively inspired,
My life has been lengthened,
My heart is now strengthened,
And I no longer feel so tired.
