Into work this morning, on the train. I should have worked yesterday!

I have so much to do! I think I shall be working until eight tonight to begin to try and catch up! I lost two days because my father and sister visited me for my birthday, but now I am behind in production of orders. Fortunately, I did my cuts, but I have straps to make, and several of them!

When you are sewing leather, making the straps for harnesses is possibly one of the most time-consuming, tedious of things. I must get into the habit of making straps as well as doing my cuts. I have three orders for harnesses, and my speciality a harness bra, so I am likely to spend the whole day on them alone. My hands will ache terribly by the end of the day!

The trains are going to be on strike at the end of the week too! Nothing but problems, problems, problems! The train today is slow, I can never understand why British trains don't run smoothly, they have signals, if someone is early slow him down with the signals! Oh, perhaps that's what they are doing with our train!

I have to get out to Finchley after getting to the station, so I won't be at work until nine, the earliest!
