over the past 2 or so months ive been chipping away at my first touhou game after a friend of mine introduced me to the touhou games and those shits can be a bitch at times. embodiment of scarlet devil is the touhou game that kind of just has all the silly characters that everyone sees in touhou fan content like reimu and cirno and sakuya and while the games are hard as balls i feel like as i play more its just gotten a lot easier and its not as hard as i thought it would be. im playing on normal difficulty n initially it was a bitch cause i didnt rly understand the attack patterns n whatevs but i got some help frum my friend who introduced me n the wiki. ill be real though that shit. i have so much like fuckin whats this. entries on the leaderboard n i was an idiot cause i didnt realize that its ok to use continues n shit i did kinda just want like recordings of wtf i was doing but its all good
being told to not move as much n utilize the continues and small gaps helped me progress a lot more n i was told patchioulis library was where the big boy spike was, and like, sure im only halfway thru the game but im getting to the harder parts already so thats neat
also patchiouli just has a really cute design n she is just like me fr so yay
