to add some things to the other comment that maybe aren't all basics, but if you can find these they would also make your fits look more scene/emo: fingerless gloves, studded belts, fun ties, band shirts
go to a thrift store!!! it'll save you so much money and you'll find more authentic pieces! look for t-shirts with funny or corny slogans. Refer back to when you went cloths shopping with your mom and she'd pull out shirts that made you roll your eyes...those are the shirts. Skinny jeans..i like rock revival jeans. Leggings if you'd like, and as for kandi you can make your own! there are cheap kits on amazon you can buy. Making your own is alot less expensive then buying. Fishnets and some silly hats.
