What am I supposed to think?

So this is kinda a continuation of my last blog entry. I took a commenters advice and on Tuesday I decided to make a move. After class I had to wait for my mother for some time so I decided to join Ethan in a practise room (practise rooms are like these rooms in the basement, each equipped with a chair and a piano. We go there to practise our instruments). We talked for a while until he had to go to his next class. Before he walked upstairs I decided to make a move and ask him to hang out after school someday. He was very hesitant from what I saw and he said "Yeah so I'm like free on Wednesday and Thursday. And also, you know, since my bus comes at 3.30 I won't be able to be long." And he was actually from what I noticed quite cautious with what he said. We decided on thursday. Thursday rools around, the night before I tried texting him at 8 pm, he was active several Times since i texted him but didnt reply. So basically on the dsy we were supposed to meet I was like super nervous and couldn't wait to see him, I was walking around all day all jolly and shit. When p.e. came around and I got a text from him basically saying "sorry i didnt text you back, i had a headache and couldnt get myself to look for my phone. I just want to let y9u know i wont be able to meet up with you today or tomorrow". I was obviously upset and dissapointed, but not angry or holding a grudge. I replied "oh okay that's alright , maybe another time", he saw it but didnt reply. I'm kinda wondering if I made him uncomfortable? What now? I feel stupid for asking to hang out but still not being successful. WHAT NOW?!?!??)!
