It has been fabulous having my Dad and sister here, and I will be a little sad if not teary that they will fly home in the morning. They have an early flight, but I'm going to see them off at the airport. I am happy that it is only two weeks and I shall be going home to Portugal for Hanukah.
I have so thoroughly enjoyed having them here. Today we have been in London, as Dad wanted to visit Bevis Marks Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in England, which is Sephardic. We went to the West End briefly for my sister, who wanted to see the Christmas lights before heading up to my unit in Finchley.
We are now back in Hertford, and going to have dinner soon. We have booked a taxi to go to the airport early tomorrow.
