A Forest

A fawn of innocent beauty,
an enchanting fae.
Pixie wings caught in the zephyr,
the creatures of today.

Enchantress of the woodland,
the one who lets all stay.
The wolf, all alone,
stalks its prey.

All alone, the fawn
Frolicking through the maze
of evergreen,
it thinks, "What a lovely day."

Trotting through the vast sea of emerald,
and just through the breaks,
thecrimson sunset falls.

Naive and small,
"Where is mother?"
consumes her thoughts.

The last thought of her forever and all.
