Album Of The Day!!

Cool feature, totally wont use it to promote my faves! As if anyone will see this but im writing for funsies!!

Anyways, today is day one of AOTD by Lukas. 21.11.2023. 

The album of today is the record by boygenius! I think this is a really fantastic album full of great songs and great voices! Let's get into it, the tracklist is:

Without You Without Them is a really nice intro to the album I'd say, I don't see myself listening to it much casually but I do really like it in connection to the album.

$20 has a very lovely instrumental, it just sounds so good to my ears, like heaven! The ending is probably my favorite part, very nice outro to the song.

Emily I'm Sorry was kind of a miss for me at first? But I've grown to love it honestly, I just love the beauty of it and the chorus. Honestly it really makes me feel at peace, at least from the instrumental!

True Blue is really nice and I really just vibe with it, it's not a top track of mine but it could very well be! I really love the chorus, as with most songs ever but it's just so nice, and the ending too, love.

Cool About It is a really nice song, and as with them all I rly love the lyrics, it's a really pretty song!

Not Strong Enough is the drug I need injected into my veins, this song just is perfection, absolute beauty. I don't know how I ever lived without this. I love love love their voices together, and god Lucy's part gives me chills so hard! This is absolutely my favorite and the music video is just so cute!!

Revolution 0 is my second least listened song from this album, but it is really pretty, and I love the lyrics like especially of this song. I should listen to it more but I don't know why I don't...

Leonard Cohen is sadly so short! But it's a great song nonetheless! I don't have too many words for this one.

Satanist is my second favorite! I just love how it starts, and goes on and just ugh, I love it! It was the first song that really got me, my first fave from bg! The instrumental part goes so hard before Lucy's part! The outro is so nice too

We're In Love is so calming to me, it is a really beautiful song. And god I just love reading the lyrics just ugh

Anti-Curse is really nice, it's probably my third favorite track on the album! It really grew on me!

Letter To An Old Poet is imo a very nice song to close the album on, a beautiful song, a beautiful album. And once again, I just love the lyrics!

And with that, my somewhat of an Album Of The Day, stay tuned for tomorrow! I know my writings of the songs and all aren't too good and kinda repetitive but I just love loving love! I highly recommend you listen to this! I give it an 8/10!
