the future of the sims 5

ok so i love the sims, i grew up with sims 3 and bought all of my expansion packs on a physical store, and watching the development of sims 5 (specially after the sims 4 fiasco) only made my worries come true. idk if anyone else has been following the development, the leaks, etc, but some stuff has come forwards and i truly believe that sims 5 is gonna be just as bad, if not worse, than sims 4. sure, it looks beautiful. i agree that the build mode looks promising, but i genuinely think that EA is gonna make the same mistake and try to go for an online version of the sims, completely ignoring what the fanns have been asking for. apparently, sims 5 is gonna have a lot of microtransactions similarly to sims 3, which is a huge let down because thats a thing i hate about sims 3. you are constantly having shit pushed down your throat to buy and it always leaved a bad taste in my mouth. if thats gonna be the case with sims 5, followed by the online nature of the game, i dont think it is gonna work. simmers constantly talk about what they want and an online version of the simss is not it. we miss the lore, the freedom, exploring, meeting interesting new characters, etc, everything that lacks on sims 4. EA has already previosly tried making their games online and it failed more than once, with sims 4 being one of the most recent exemples. why go through this path again? what is fun about the sims is learning about the world, both through exploration and meeting new npcs. we needs the sims team to focus on that and not on what they think we want. the moment i saw how you can build with friends, i knew that the game was over. sure, similarly to sims 4, people are still gonna buy it. but i truly believe the online aspect is gonna make less people want to play it. will it only be online like simcity fiasco? we already know how that ended. idk, it saddens me that such an amazing game with awesome lore and a promising path might be walking towards its downfall due to greed. i still hope that one day the sims will go back to what it once was, with newer graphics, optimized gameplay, and aditional stuff that weve always been asking for, but i dont think thats happening any time soon. i wanted to go more in depth when talking about sims 5, maybe soon i will, there are many leaks i want to talk about, but i think this is enough. it is 30°C where i live and i am eating a sacolé de maracujá, it is rlly sour but i also hate sweet maracujá. i missed eating sacolé, i remember buying it for 1,25 from my neighbor.
