stop calling scenecore scene!! they r not even similar and saying they r is liek saying emo is teh same as goth just bcuz of black clothez. itz that bad.
i know therez nothing wrong wiv teh subculture in itself but liek it happenz so much and itz so toxic and sanitized (see: "unalived") and i am so sick of it im starting 2 get annoyed at teh whole of scenecore. liek get out of mah tumblr dash and mah pinterest homepage!! i did not ask 4 u!!

oh meh gawh!! yes hazzah finally im not da only one!!!!! it is vewy tru dat fashion and style evolves but... as someone who grew up in de later years of classic scene like 2014 and further on IT CLEARLY EVOLVED NATURALLY!! and they weren't piggy backing off the hype of scene culture... the spirit was still there !!! but with scenecore its... well.. dumb kids on da tiktok and twitter that THINK dat scenecore is glorifying the old days and iz so much like 2000s but.. datz da problem.. iTS NOT!! scenecore is sooo much more different !! like if you look at an image of those weird scenecore editz...? DATS NOTHANG LIKE ANYTHANG I 'VE EVER SEEN WHEN I WAS A KID!!!! sigh... fashion a nd culture evolving is not de issue. de issue is when PEOPLE SAY ITS 2000S FASHION AND MUTATE IT INTO SOMETHANG ITS NOT!! GRR

lol what's wrong with scenecore :(( I get it isn't exactly like the OG subculture, but I'm so happy that scene style as a whole is coming back in style, even if it's in a different way. Scene kids wore bright ass neon colors, how is bright ass rainbow colors much different?
there'z nothing wrong with scenecore itself but scenecore is not a newer version of sc3n3!! it'z a whole different subculture bcuz they r 2 different 2 call teh same.

so yeh that'z my opinion i dont think teh style is inherently bad but i just h8 when ppl say they r teh same thing bcuz they r not!!
(i also dont liek teh way itz so sanitized and haz so much purity culture in it but that'z a different conversation entirely XD)

i mean... yeah. teh only tiem i can accept it is when people acknowledge that they r not scene and that when they say they r scenecore they know itz a different thing. if they cant see any difference (i.e. 99.9% of scenecore kidz) then u r 100% correct
