Okay so for some reason I feel like nobody is hating on AI as much as they should be. The very concept is so fucking scary and my friends are over here trying to fuck their favorite characters with it. I know it’s far from perfect but we’ve already seen businesses use it. people would rather use shitty AI art that looks like someone had a stroke midway through drawing it than pay artists. There’s something so dystopian about that and people aren’t freaked out enough.
It’s not even economic ramifications I’m worried about. do you ever here people talking about “why would I need therapy when I can go on c.ai” or something along those lines. isn’t that worrying at all?? people would rather talk to something designed to mimic a human than actual people.
I just find it so creepy that the art and writing that makes up people’s humanity can be so easily copied now. There’s something so eerie about the art made by AI. Like staring into the eyes of a taxidermy animal.
Anyway I just had to get that off my chest even though my about sick and about to fall asleep. u can probably tell lol. also i’m writing this on mobile which sux ass

Yeah I agree... I think it's pretty useful for certain, important things, but it being so accessible to the normal human being isn't the best. A little unsettling if I'm being honest.

I love AI as a TOOL, but I hate that there's AI art. I suppose it would be okay if you are using it for drawing references but otherwise it's bullshit that people are just typing words into a generator, and taking the picture from it and calling it their own art
That’s true! although I think if you need anatomy references you’re better off looking for actual people
