2 Years on SpaceHey

Hi all! It’s been quite a while since my last blog entry. Almost a year in fact >.>

I’ll log into SpaceHey every now and then to check friend requests, but admittedly haven’t been very active ^^; I’m on a plane and don’t have much else to do atm so I figured this would be a good chance to write a new blog post. Plus, I can give folks some life updates as a lot has changed since my last post

Compared to last year, things in life have improved significantly. I was able to amiably resign from my caretaker duties at the end of last year (a little bit after my previous blog post.) Then later on in the year, I was able to officially able to move in with my partner of almost 8 years. Living together has been a goal of ours for a long time and I’m so grateful that we have finally been able to turn that into a reality.

Things aren’t perfect, of course, but I can’t complain as this time last year was quite a difficult time for me. I’m in a better place mentally and am slowly but surely moving forward with working on other goals of mine. I’m still getting used to things in my new space as this is my first time living in a whole new state. I’ll get the hang of it eventually ^^;

Things can still be tough. Moving didn’t suddenly fix all my problems, or course. Despite this, I’ve made it a point to appreciate the positive things that happen in life, no matter how big or small. Things seem like they would never change and I was stuck in a rut forever this time last year. Nowadays, I’m shocked to see just how much things have improved and how grateful I am for it.

I have a lot more goals I’d like to work on in multiple aspects of life. My art career, being more social (online and offline), and trying new experiences to name a few.  

I could babble on and on about stuff but I’ll spare you all and wrap things up -w-
