Three Radikal Rekerds #1: Corrosive Cavemen in Chinatown

I'm new to this site, and for a little while I wasn't sure what to do with it. But I figured that I'm mostly indoors these days, doing little besides indulging in my ruinous addiction to finding the good obscure stuff on bandcamp. Why not start a series of bulletins promoting some of the fine albums, demos, singles and remixes I stumble upon, perhaps introducing you fine folks to a new favourite band - or at least a flavour of the week for you lovely Spaceheyannite's. I hope you enjoy today's offerings (hopefully this will be a mostly daily thing, time and interest permitting);

First Days of Humanity, Atrocities
Genre: Goregrind
Standout track: Barbaric Acts Unknown to Modern Man
Gloriously ugly caveman grindcore with some of the most appallingly guttural vocals I've ever heard. Nice tribute to the better known and equally barbarous Last Days of Humanity.

Aests, The Classics
Genre: Future Funk/Chopped n' Screwed
Standout track: FIGHT!
Short but sweet selection of city pop-inflected dance inducers, with some surprising and bold song breaks and tempo shifts.

Holiday Inn, Torbido
Genre: Experimental Post-Punk
Standout track: Torbido (title track)
If you're a fan of Agent Side Grinder or Pissed Jeans don't overlook this. Like those two aforementioned acts, Holiday Inn have an uncanny ability to transform unpleasant metallic tones into something memorable and catchy. Paranoiac anthems at their finest.

Do let me know if you liked/disliked any of my recommendations! If you have suggestions of your own or even you're own projects you'd like to see featured here (bandcamp links only please) let me know :D
