layout help?

i've been working on making myself an Animal Jam themed layout using the simple blue layout by r1n as a base, and i like how it looks so far!

however, i'm stumped with this one issue:

i've added custom images for the icons in the "contacting" section of my page. i used the code shown here to do this, but for some reason, the default icons are still showing, and i can't figure out why.
