Making a fursuit head! :D

edit 1 - finally got some foam from joanns (1in thick) and began to make my wolf fursona, Mantis! all other materials i got are also from joanns too. for anyone curious, i am using the backet head technique ^v^

i will try to update my blog when i start furring! also sry if the photo of my progress dosent work

also, if anyone has any tips to furring, i will gladly accept them! this is my first time making an actual foam fursuit head (the previous one I made was made of cardboard lol)so any help will be great! :D

edit 2 - started marking places out w/ masking tape! :D also ive realized ive forgotton to get lime green + yellow fur and fleece T^T this suckkssss. ive gone to joanns so many timess

also, ive sewn a nose! i just used some black fleece for it and some poly fill (its a huugee bag bro i just need to use some) ive got the back, inside of the muzzle/mouth and the inside of the ears already marked with masking tape. in addition, i added some more foam on the inside of the head in order to keep it from falling or moving around too much.

next update will prob be when i finish patterning and get started on furring :D

edit 3 - yazzz ok so this is gonna be a short 1 cuz i celebrated thankgiving todayy but i began adding fur to to the back!

im almost finished with the back!

edit 4(no progress) - bro im getting so unmotivated loll. idk might finish the back when i get home :/

edit 5 - also yayyyyyy ive remade the maw or mouth or somthing and it looks much better :D

edit 6 -  taking a break and working on my tail instead! also im almost finished with the patterns and stuff :3

edit 7 - noooo part of my tail was backwardsss

edit 8- I GOT A DINO MASK    its like clown themed ig? also taking a break from stuff for a while to make room for school work (also a little burt out rn lolz)
