Unpopular cinema opinions !!

I woke up with violence. I am a huge movie lover (follow my letterboxd :P) and I thought about expressing some thoughts about films and cinema in general most people won't agree with or that are debatable. I hope anyone will actually read it.

-I don't like Darren Aronofsky. Requiem for a dream, despite its impressive score, editing and photography, has a bland message it totallyfails t making "deep" or "special", it is way too exploitative especially towwards women just for the sake of pushing  message though your brain. And forced morals and messages shoved in your head like "DON't YOU GET IT ?? THE BLACK SWAN SYMBOLISES THE MENTAL STATE OF THE GIRL !!!" is all I've seen in the films I've seen of his. No subtility.

-Makoto Shinkai is not the new Miyazaki and will never be, y'all just PRAISE HIM for the obviously stunning animation and art. But the plots are mainly stupid, bad, boring, awkward, and character design is bland.

-Tim Burton is overrated as hell. His first films were pretty good but after Charlie and the Chocolate factory (Sweney told was not AWFUL tho) it goes down a spiral of cringy films that tries to be spooky for 12 year olds, with no visual identity besides repulsive, no atmosphere, unfunny jokes and FRICKING WEDNESDAY. And with that said, Johnny Depp is also extremly overrated and I'm sick of seeing his face.

-Death Proof >Once Upon a time in Hollywood.

-Stop saying Ryan Gosling is "literally you". Because it's wrong. He's me. I am Ryan Gosling.

-Liking disturbing/gross/effed up films does not make someone a monster oor a psychopath. However if you think it makes you look cool and edgy you're also really wrong and I also hate you.

-Hating every blockbuster because you're so smart and different makes yoou look ridiculous and does not make you more of a cinephile.

-New Disney movies are not corrupting children, talking about periods to children is a great step compared to the non consenting and kinda necrophilic kisses of old disney.

-Talking 'bout Disney, live action adaptation of a cartoon is the death of cinema. It is an attempt of killing the medium of animation and a money machine for brainwashed disney adults.

-All Warren Files movies suck ass !! that's all.

-Movies are not made for a plot. Movie can have no clear story. Movies are not made for you to "understand what is clearly going on". MMovie is also art, visuals, settings, experiences; a movie isn't "bad" because you were bored. Just stop using your phone for half of it.

-Good acting is not crying and screaming in a convincing way. Staying calm is one of the best form of acting.

Now a list of sequels WAY better than the original (aside from the obvious ones like Shrek, Spider-man and Puss in boots.)

    -Iron Man 3

    -Final Destination 5 > Final Destination 1

    -Saw 2

Do y'all not hate me yet ? well it's not over.

Here are some films y'all pretend is "a masterpiece omg best ever peak cinema" but that just makes me say "meh".

These ones makes me say "pretty good, but when am I supposed to LOVE it ?"

And these ones are supposed to be "meh" or even "awful" movies but I like/love them.
