Name Etymology: Alpha doubles in meaning, referring to both "first" and the leader of something (in this instance, referring to a wolf pack). Malison means curse, tying into the werewolf theme

Lore: Malison was initially the leader of his own squadron on Cybertron known as the Canes Venatici, where he would deliver things from across the planet, this is where he would obtain the title of Alpha. At the beginning of the war, Alpha Malison was drawn to the side of the Decepticons, however as corruption began to overcome their cause, would Shockwave commit unethical experiments on him, disabling his voice box and rewriting his code to brutally destroy anything with the Autobot insignia, keeping him a Decepticon against his will.

On earth, Malison would arrive in an Autobot emergency escape pod, having charged at and attacked an Autobot who was attempting to flee Cybertron, locking himself inside of it with their offlined body. Later would it be discovered by the three kids (Miko, Jack and Raf) that he does not attack humans. Combined with the previous knowledge he does not seem to harm or remember Autobots if he cannot see their badge, the children decide to encourage Ratchet and Team Prime to help him. After which, he would become an Autobot.

Lore: Serving alongside Megatron as a Decepticon, Malison is appreciated for his brute strength and bravery, charging headfirst into battle and willing to die in the process. This does however backfire on the occasion, often assisting the Autobots rather than destroying them due to how predictable his actions can be. Despite his seemingly strong loyalty to the Decepticons, he would leave them behind and disappear upon the arrival of Galvatron, to seemingly travel on his own.

Lore: Despite his cunning, Malison isn't very smart. In fact, most of the time hes making canine-related puns and one liners. Following orders isn't very hard for him, but him doing them properly is another cube of energon; he does things for himself, believing it to be his right, and his helm is too full of air to realize the rest of the Decepticons don't respect him and his numerous attempts at petty theft. He would lose his life to Optimus Prime as the Decepticons reign began to dissipate, feigning his loyalty to the Autobots only to make a bold move on the Primes life; and be promptly terminated. All bark, no bite.
