apocalyptic sceneries in dreams

had two dreams about the world ending, where in the first the universe got sucked in a big ass black hole and in the second there was a zombie apocalypse where we all ended up transformed into zombies (my crush kissed me tho!)

Quite simple really.

Such a subconscious screams for an answer to life uncertainties and in itself is attempting to answer them through a pleasing narrative of its own.

of course, the mind filters information from the world to fit what it already thinks is true.
i don't know much about how this works but it's not always a pleasant worldview as some people have self-destructive beliefs of the world, incels are a great example, using "data" to justify what they think is true. but im still curious about which of the archetypes this kind of dream, or the paranoid delusion you mentioned, this maps onto. again I don't know much about this kind of thing
