TL;DR: Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is in danger of being demolished. Sign the petition.
So quite a few of us have heard of this album/band right?
If not, this is Tally Hall and their album Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum.
For context, Tally Hall is from Michigan, where the museum is located. They named their band in honor of a defunct mini mall that had once housed the museum. The album is named after the museum itself.
This is Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum. The actual place. A well-known, historic museum. Lots of memories were made here.
It is in danger of being torn down.
The city is seeking to progress its steps to close the museum and put in a Meijer, a chain grocery store. This historic place may shut down forever because the city wants to tear down Marvin's and replace it with a grocery store that could have been put anywhere else.
To put it bluntly, if you give a fuck, listen.
There's a petition to save the museum that you can sign right now. As of posting it has almost 35,000 signatures. Click here for the petition.
Let's all get involved.
Save Marvin's.
