Horror Genre

i saw a new horror game on tiktok earlier called lethal company, it looked fun and pretty goofy and I'd like to try it out with some friends. it's only $10 on steam which is a pretty neat price for such an interesting looking game, i watched a streamer play it yesterday and it was pretty entertaining so i don't mind playing it myself. after playing phasmo i feel like I've been missing out on things. i enjoy watching other people play horror games bcuzi'd be too scared to do it myself, but i feel like the experience of playing it on my own would be more fun for me so I'll try to breach out of my comfort levels to a reasonable amount, i don't want to push my limits too much.

i've played a few horror games like fnaf, silent hill, batim, ddlc, dbd and like a few others. i wouldn't really considere those as "scary" though, it's more of a unsettling approach and the stories behind them are dark which i like, but not to the point where i'm crying and throwing up getting nightmares. i just want to try out new game genres in general because i don't want to get bored of the same things.
