I WAS ACCEPTED INTO COLLEGE

I found out last night that I got accepted into Chatham University! I'm really excited! I went to visit the campus, and it has all the opportunities for me to do all the things I'm interested in doing, and it's a small enough college that it's easy to work out double majoring/minoring. I was accepted for Creative Writing, which seems like a cool major at their campus. It's also part of the art department at Chatham, and the classrooms are in the same place as the art classes so I think it's really easy to work with both! Which is excited since their studios looked super cool. They also have a drama club that puts on productions with their own theater, and multiple choirs and bands, so I'll hopefully be able to continue all of that! I also heard that there's some cave-like basement club somewhere that used to put on shows for underground punk bands and helped Pittsburgh's punk movement, which is EPIC. I wonder if they still have shows, cause I love a lot of punk sub-genres. All of the dorms (minus one) are also renovated mansions from I believe Andrew Mellon's estate who donated them to the college (including his summer home which actually has classrooms and had a movie filmed in it!)

I'm worried about my one application though...I applied to NYU and I don't think it's going to be reviewed...I missed the email asking for a portfolio, and I think I completely messed it up. I'm not quite sure what to do, or if I can fix this. I hope so. I applied to NYU for dramatic writing, and maybe something in music? I honestly forget, that was such a weird one. They didn't have an English major OR a creative writing major, so I didn't know what to put. The closest thing they had was dramatic writing, which is basically writing scrips for plays, film and TV, which I think is just a less broad version of creative writing. They do offer creative writing as a minor, though. But I don't have a portfolio of dramatic writing, since I've never written a script before. Except that one for the "movie" ny friend an I were gonna make with our legos in 5th grade that I only ever poetry/song writing, so I don't have anything to put in it except that? Which would maybe work? I dunnno. 

I'm just hoping I hear back from a few more colleges, too! I still might apply to more, I'm trying to figure it out. Chatham was one of my top choices, so I don't know where else I may want to go since I'm already in. But there's a few drawbacks to Chatham...but I can also really see myself there. I dunno. My mom wants me to apply to Pitt, but I really don't want to. I don't want such a big school, and there's nothing there that's pulling me that Chatham doesn't already have. I don't do well with big groups, so I think a smaller school with more personal classes would be better for me. Unless it's somwhere that's really good or would give me a lot of opportunity, which I don't think is Pitt personally for myself.
