theres a difference between not liking shit and being racist. if you try to dismiss all rap, youre the latter. sorry not sorry.
expand ur music tastes. listen to me. you think you dont like rap? im-fucking-possible. you know how many different kinds of rap there are? a damn million. you CAN find rap you like.
even if u dont like the sound of it, dont even try to pretend that 9/10 rappers arent just speaking the truth. in a actual skillful way. CHOOSING to talk about the truthes of life. they just arent saying it in the way thats ultra santized.
which makes them more punk than half the classic brit punks
if you wanna be a good ally, you gotta engage even with shit u dont like. find the beauty in things that scare you. maybe sit down n shut up for a fuckin moment and listen to someone, even if they arent choosing to appeal to only your ears.
