mash diary directed by Alan Alda

omg hey it's me again your local crazyperson. Today I'm reviewing our first directed by Alan Alda episode yayy. This one was fun, as all s5 eps are. Let's gooo.
  • 5x12 - Exorcism: this episode had everything, anti war messages, bj and hawk being cute, frank being frank, some very succint writing, some banger klinger outfits... i'm gonna go straight into the rating. HAWKEYE INDEX: 8/10 very good Hawkeye this episode, very smart and good without being a smartass or being written as the only one with the braincell (which he does NOT possess). BISEXUALITY INDEX: 8/10 not that bisexual but fun either way, just looking at BJ made me fawn so that's a positive point. KLINGER INDEX: 10/10 s5 never disappoints with Klinger and this is an Alda certified so you KNOWWW that Klinger's gonna serve. The shot of his legs with the skirt, yay yum! He was stellar this episodw MWAHHH. ANTI-WAR INDEX: 10/10 yes yes yes!!!! this one's a good one. It's not specifically about critcism of war but the message is so intrinsic to the plot that it has to be there. Loved especially the part with BJ and the kid he saves, super cute and important. GENDER INDEX: 7/10 always a high mark if Klinger's there. Not a lot of gender going on outside of Klinger but still served. GENERAL LIKABILITY: 8/10 very good episode! All the characters were giving it their all and it was very fun. GOOD TELEVISION: 10/10 sorry for being an aldagirl. Like it's my fault. But it is a very good episode so whatever!! Overall rating: 8.7.
That's all folks! Very nice episode that feels like a whatever episode in the sense that it's not extremely important to the overarching point (a filler, as some would say, but I hate that word) but it is very good, entertaining and fun. A mash classic!! And also beejhawk sorry that im crazy loooool.
